Afghan Immigration
The State of California welcomes Afghan newcomers as they resettle and integrate into Californian communities. These resources are intended to help Afghan families build bridges to their new homes and communities across the state. Afghan Arrival Response (ca.gov)
In addition to the Refugee Resettlement Program (RRP) and Cuban/Haitian Entrant Program (CHEP). The California Department of Social Services (CDSS), Refugee Programs Bureau (RPB) has oversight responsibilities for the following programs:
