The CHSCO collaborates with the HSCA and other valued partners to provide critical information to Head Start Programs. Below you will find a series of webinars that highlight key topics that support California's families and youngest learners.
May 30, 2023 - This webinar is intended for school administrators, Head Start program directors, early learning and care directors and staff, and anyone who would like to learn more about how to blend, braid, and layer with Head Start programs to maximize benefits to children, families, and providers.
June 3, 2025 - This dynamic statewide virtual workshop focused on health, mental health, dental, and community partnerships in Head Start programs. This gathering is designed for staff and program directors in related service areas to: share valuable resources and best practices; collaborate on strategies to support child and family; build connections across programs statewide.
​March 21, 2024 - This webinar is featuring the Napa County Office of Education on Embedded Instruction for Early learning California entitled, “Hand in Hand with Teachers: Embedded Instruction – Inclusion in Action”. In this webinar, participants will learn new ways to apply embedded instruction practices to everyday activities, routines, and transitions.
​September 2, 2025 - This webinar covers essential topics including developmental readiness for solids, proper food textures and serving sizes, and the importance of creating balanced and visually appealing meals that meet program requirements.
May 29, 2024 - In this webinar the National Center on Health, Behavioral Health, and Safety (NCHBHS), working in partnership with the American Dental Hygienists’ Association, administers the Dental Hygienist Liaison (DHL) project help promote oral health for pregnant women and children enrolled in Head Start programs.
